Women’s March

The first piece in a two-part series about the fight over Women's rights. The Women's March was a worldwide protest on January 21, 2017, the day after the inauguration of Donald Trump as the US president. His misogynistic policy positions and rhetoric prompted worldwide demonstrations. 

The egg represents fertility and, in this context, a women's maternal and reproductive rights—the pink pussyhat symbolized support and solidarity for women's rights and political resistance.
